Do Near smart switches come in 2-poles?
Smart switches are definitely one way to make your normal home lights smart. As most Singapore lighting circuits only have a live connection at the light switch, we only make single-pole smart switches.
Is a Zigbee hub required for Near smart switches?
Except for the Near Wi-Fi Water Heater Smart Switch (Touch Series), All Near smart switches operates on the Zigbee 3.0 protocol and hence a hub is required. We offer two hubs: the hub air (no lan-wire required) and the Homekit hub (lan-wire required, Homekit compatible)
How many LED lights can one smart switch handle?
The factory that produces our smart switches recommends not to connect more than 6 lights per gang.
What is the warranty period for Near smart switches?
At Near, we provide a one-year warranty for our smart switches. Should you face any technical issues with your smart switch, you may contact our customer support at support@near.sg or Whatsapp message at +65 9727 1719.
Can a smart switch be used as a normal switch?
Yes, we recommend pairing your smart switches with the Near App first. Once connected, you have the flexibility to control them either through the app or by pressing the buttons manually.
