Pair your Module 2

Step 1 - Connect your Zigbee Hub.

Your Zigbee Hub must be paired with the Smart Life app before you can add a Module 2. If this is your first time setting up your hub, visit the Getting Started guide before continuing.

Step 2 - Add your Module 2

Tap the "+" button on the Smart Life home screen, then select Add Device. Your Zigbee Hub will automatically begin searching for nearby Module 2s.

Step 3 - Follow the On-Screen Instructions.

Simply follow the prompts shown in the Smart Life app to complete the setup. Once finished, your Module 2 is ready to use.

Step 4 - Enter Pairing Mode (If Required)

Method 1

If your Module 2 is not detected automatically, switch the connected light on and off five times, waiting two seconds between each press. The light will begin blinking once pairing mode is activated.

Method 2

Module 2 step 6
If the Module 2 still isn't detected, use a SIM eject pin to press the reset button five times while the module is powered on. This will place it into pairing mode.
